Anton Hahn completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Philipps University of Marburg. Since 2023, he has been enrolled in the Master's program “Strategy & International Security” at the University of Bonn. From 2022 to 2024, he was a research assistant at the Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK), where he worked on issues relating to maritime security and terrorism research. Since December 2024, he supports the Henry-Kissinger Chair for Strategic and Security Studies in the research project “The Federal Intelligence Service and German Foreign and Security Policy since 1990”. His interests centre around Defence Studies, Military Strategy, matters of deterrence as well as European geopolitical challenges. Mr. Hahn is active in numerous associations (i.e. ZUsipol, BSH) and receives a scholarship from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation for the duration of his Master's degree.
